Below is a list of some book titles and authors appropriate for third graders to be reading. Ask your child about the book as they are reading. You can ask them who the characters are in the story, where the story takes place (setting), what the story is about, what the problem is in the story, and the order the events happened (plot - beginning, middle and ending). Also, see the attached list of authors and books sent to me from Ms. Duffy, our librarian.
